  Details :- LV833 crashed 01:45 after colliding with HX243 into a thickly wooded area 1km South West of Plattenhardt, 14km South of Stuttgart.
                 
  614 aircraft detailed for this mission including 153 Halifax, 4 Halifax were lost including HX243 and LV833 from 466 Squadron.
   
  F/O Walsh, F/O Croft, F/S Smith and F/S Conway were buried in Bonlanden Cemetery before being re-buried to Durnbach War Cemetery in 1947.
  Sgt Palmer, Sgt Lloyd and F/S Whiteley are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
                 
  F/S Campbell - PoW number is 445 at Stalag Luft Bankau-Kreulberg.
