| Details :- Shot down near Julich on the outskirts of Cologne on the return from Bochum at approx 20:00. | ||||||||
NR132 exploded with 2 of the crew being blown out of the aircraft, both sustaining bad injuries, W/O McCasker later dying from his wounds. P/O Dodgson was badly injured with 2 broken wrists and a fractured neck, his injuries were only crudely set before he was dispatched to a PoW camp. |

| Those of the crew who died were buried in Düren New Cemetery before being re-buried in 1949 to Rheinberg War Cemetery. | ||||||||
